It's great to be with you again. And I look forward to joining with you many more times in the future. "Last year, CPAC gave me the sendoff I needed. I was in single digits in the polls, and I was facing household Republican names. As of today, more than 4 million people have given me their vote for President, less than Senator McCain's 4.7 million, but quite a statement nonetheless. Eleven states have given me their nod, compared to his 13. Of course, because size does matter, he's doing quite a bit better with his number of delegates. "To all of you, thank you for caring enough about the future of America to show up, stand up and speak up for conservative principles. "As I said to you last year, conservative principles are needed now more than ever. We face a new generation of challenges, challenges which threaten our prosperity, our security and our future. I am convinced that unless America changes course, we will become the France of the 21st century – still a great nation, but no longer the leader of the world, no longer the superpower. And to me, that is unthinkable. Simon Peres, in a visit to Boston, was asked what he thought about the war in Iraq. 'First,' he said, 'I must put something in context. America is unique in the history of the world. In the history of the world, whenever there has been conflict, the nation that wins takes land from the nation that loses. One nation in history, and this during the last century, laid down hundreds of thousands of lives and took no land. No land from Germany, no land from Japan, no land from Korea. America is unique in the sacrifice it has made for liberty, for itself and for freedom loving people around the world.' The best ally peace has ever known, and will ever know, is a strong America. "And that is why we must rise to the occasion, as we have always done before, to confront the challenges ahead. Perhaps the most fundamental of these is the attack on the American culture. "Over the years, my business has taken me to many countries. I have been struck by the enormous differences in the wealth and well-being of people of different nations. I have read a number of scholarly explanations for the disparities. I found the most convincing was that written by David Landes, a professor emeritus from Harvard University. I presume he's a liberal – I guess that's redundant. His work traces the coming and going of great civilizations throughout history. After hundreds of pages of analysis, he concludes with this: "If we learn anything from the history of economic development, it is that culture makes all the difference. Culture makes all the difference. "What is it about American culture that has led us to become the most powerful nation in the history of the world? We believe in hard work and education. We love opportunity: almost all of us are immigrants or descendants of immigrants who came here for opportunity – opportunity is in our DNA. Americans love God, and those who don't have faith, typically believe in something greater than themselves – a 'Purpose Driven Life.' And we sacrifice everything we have, even our lives, for our families, our freedoms and our country. The values and beliefs of the free American people are the source of our nation's strength and they always will be. "The threat to our culture comes from within. The 1960's welfare programs created a culture of poverty. Some think we won that battle when we reformed welfare, but the liberals haven't given up. At every turn, they try to substitute government largesse for individual responsibility. They fight to strip work requirements from welfare, to put more people on Medicaid, and to remove more and more people from having to pay any income tax whatsoever. Dependency is death to initiative, risk-taking and opportunity. Dependency is a culture-killing drug. We have got to fight it like the poison it is. "The attack on faith and religion is no less relentless. And tolerance for pornography – even celebration of it – and sexual promiscuity, combined with the twisted incentives of government welfare programs have led to today's grim realities: 68% of African American children are born out-of-wedlock, 45% of Hispanic children, and 25% of White children. How much harder it is for these children to succeed in school and in life. A nation built on the principles of the Founding Fathers cannot long stand when its children are raised without fathers in the home. "The development of a child is enhanced by having a mother and father. Such a family is the ideal for the future of the child and for the strength of a nation. I wonder how it is that unelected judges, like some in my state of Massachusetts, are so unaware of this reality, so oblivious to the millennia of recorded history. It is time for the people of America to fortify marriage through Constitutional amendment, so that liberal judges cannot continue to attack it. "Europe is facing a demographic disaster. That is the inevitable product of weakened faith in the Creator, failed families, disrespect for the sanctity of human life and eroded morality. Some reason that culture is merely an accessory to America's vitality; we know that it is the source of our strength. And we are not dissuaded by the snickers and knowing glances when we stand up for family values, and morality, and culture. We will always be honored to stand on principle and to stand for principle. "The attack on our culture is not our sole challenge. We face economic competition unlike anything we have ever known before. China and Asia are emerging from centuries of poverty. Their people are plentiful, innovative and ambitious. If we do not change course, Asia or China will pass us by as the economic superpower, just as we passed England and France during the last century. The prosperity and security of our children and grandchildren depend on us. "Our prosperity and security also depend on finally acting to become energy secure. Oil producing states like Russia and Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and Iran are siphoning over $400 billion per year from our economy – that's almost what we spend annually for defense. It is past time for us to invest in energy technology, nuclear power, clean coal, liquid coal, renewable sources and energy efficiency. America must never be held hostage by the likes of Putin, Chavez, and Ahmadinejad. "And our economy is also burdened by the inexorable ramping of government spending. Don't focus on the pork alone – even though it is indeed irritating and shameful. Look at the entitlements. They make up 60% of federal spending today. By the end of the next President's second term, they will total 70%. Any conservative plan for the future has to include entitlement reform that solves the problem, not just acknowledges it. "Most politicians don't seem to understand the connection between our ability to compete and our national wealth, and the wealth of our families. They act as if money just happens – that it's just there. But every dollar represents a good or service produced in the private sector. Depress the private sector and you depress the well-being of Americans. "That's exactly what happens with high taxes, over-regulation, tort windfalls, mandates, and overfed, over-spending government. Did you see that today, government workers make more money than people who work in the private sector? Can you imagine what happens to an economy where the best opportunities are for bureaucrats? "It's high time to lower taxes, including corporate taxes, to take a weed-whacker to government regulations, to reform entitlements, and to stand up to the increasingly voracious appetite of the unions in our government. "And finally, let's consider the greatest challenge facing America – and facing the entire civilized world: the threat of violent, radical Jihad. In one wing of the world of Islam, there is a conviction that all governments should be destroyed and replaced by a religious caliphate. These Jihadists will battle any form of democracy. To them, democracy is blasphemous for it says that citizens, not God shape the law. They find the idea of human equality to be offensive. They hate everything we believe about freedom just as we hate everything they believe about radical Jihad. "To battle this threat, we have sent the most courageous and brave soldiers in the world. But their numbers have been depleted by the Clinton years when troops were reduced by 500,000, when 80 ships were retired from the Navy, and when our human intelligence was slashed by 25%. We were told that we were getting a peace dividend. We got the dividend, but we didn't get the peace. In the face of evil in radical Jihad and given the inevitable military ambitions of China, we must act to rebuild our military might – raise military spending to 4% of our GDP, purchase the most modern armament, re-shape our fighting forces for the asymmetric demands we now face, and give the veterans the care they deserve. "Soon, the face of liberalism in America will have a new name. Whether it is Barack or Hillary, the result would be the same if they were to win the Presidency. The opponents of American culture would push the throttle, devising new justifications for judges to depart from the Constitution. Economic neophytes would layer heavier and heavier burdens on employers and families, slowing our economy and opening the way for foreign competition to further erode our lead. "Even though we face an uphill fight, I know that many in this room are fully behind my campaign. You are with me all the way to the convention. Fight on, just like Ronald Reagan did in 1976. But there is an important difference from 1976: today, we are a nation at war. "And Barack and Hillary have made their intentions clear regarding Iraq and the war on terror. They would retreat and declare defeat. And the consequence of that would be devastating. It would mean attacks on America, launched from safe havens that make Afghanistan under the Taliban look like child's play. About this, I have no doubt. "I disagree with Senator McCain on a number of issues, as you know. But I agree with him on doing whatever it takes to be successful in Iraq, on finding and executing Osama bin Laden, and on eliminating Al Qaeda and terror. If I fight on in my campaign, all the way to the convention, I would forestall the launch of a national campaign and make it more likely that Senator Clinton or Obama would win. And in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign, be a part of aiding a surrender to terror. "This is not an easy decision for me. I hate to lose. My family, my friends and our supporters – many of you right here in this room – have given a great deal to get me where I have a shot at becoming President. If this were only about me, I would go on. But I entered this race because I love America, and because I love America, I feel I must now stand aside, for our party and for our country. "I will continue to stand for conservative principles. I will fight alongside you for all the things we believe in. And one of those things is that we cannot allow the next President of the United States to retreat in the face evil extremism. "It is the common task of each generation – and the burden of liberty – to preserve this country, expand its freedoms and renew its spirit so that its noble past is prologue to its glorious future. "To this task, accepting this burden, we are all dedicated, and I firmly believe, by the providence of the Almighty, that we will succeed beyond our fondest hope. America must remain, as it has always been, the hope of the Earth. "Thank you, and God bless America."<br /><a href="http://www.mittromney.com/News/Press-Releases/CPAC_Address">http://www.mittromney.com/News/Press-Releases/CPAC_Address</a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4212101665079639951-6228017848468831309?l=libertysfront.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

My Endorsement: John McCain.

<a href="http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2004/08/31/2mccain.jpg"><img style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2004/08/31/2mccain.jpg" border="0" /></a> With the gracious withdrawal of Mitt Romney, from the race today, I must confess that I am sorry. John McCain has not been my choice for President at any time during this election cycle, or any cycle for that matter. <div><div><div>I am now choosing to shift my support completely to John McCain. Today I have decided to bury my hatchet, and end my war on McCain in the interest of the American people. In full disclosure I admit that I have a secret hope of a second chance for Romney. I am hoping for a potential Vice Presidential nod from John, and the opportunity for Mitt to run as an incumbent later after a McCain White House, or after one of the democrats destroys everything that they touch. I am not pleased with many of McCain’s positions, but I do agree that the economy and the war, are the most important issues facing the American people today. As for illegal immigration, I think that we can help John know what is right, and make him listen to the voice of the people by keeping his feet to the fire. Honestly, I am not totally in love with the man but I am not looking at McCain, as a potential spouse, I already have one of those thank you. This is politics and you have to weigh the issues. John McCain has 85% of what we want and if John hooks up with Romney that ratio ends up over 110%. Sound Off.</div><div><a href="http://www.johnmccain.com/">http://www.johnmccain.com/</a></div></div></div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4212101665079639951-2408819346564301887?l=libertysfront.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

New Endosement Comming Soon:

We must not stop moving the ball forward. This movie explores the history of the sixth article of the Constitution; it attempts to discover how this law is being accepted, and how well it is understood among the American people. The film focuses on the part that says: “no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.” This is a must see movie, and yes it does mention Mitt Romney, but the movie does not focus on him, it isn’t about him, even though I am sure that he must have been the inspiration for it. I enjoyed the strong opinions of everyone that participated in the movie. I found it to be a documentary that in the end finds common ground, and emphasizes the American in us all. It is unlike every Michael Moore movie that I have seen. It is not a feel bad but rather a feel good movie. It does a fine job tackling a tough and touchy subject.<br /><a href="http://www.article6themovie.com/">http://www.article6themovie.com/</a><br /><br />Article VI<br />All Debts contracted and Engagements entered into, before the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation. These are that I have contributed to Mr. Romney’s campaign and secondly that I am now what you can call a cult like follower. This admiration has in fact made me totally and completely biased as to my choice for the Presidency. Now that you know this, I should mention that I have not always been this way. I want to tell you how I came to my decision.I first became aware of Mr. Romney just shortly before the events of September 11th 2001.The Salt Lake City Olympic committee was embroiled in scandal, and the press was relentless in its attacks and accusations of fraud, and bribery. We were coming apart at the seams. I personally recall thinking what an embarrassment this was becoming not only for Utah but also for the rest of America. At the time, I believed that it would have been impossible to recover from. The criticism that would have followed had Mr. Romney not appeared so suddenly on the scene to rescue us in our time of global scrutiny would have categorically been a humiliation. The Olympics are about the only thing besides a “World War” that I can think of that the world actually prepares for with a military like zeal, but without the bombs and missiles instead choosing to use sleds, and ice skates. An event like that cannot be canceled. The Olympics are an affair of the nations, which promotes global unity through competition rather than war. We would soon see as a nation that the Olympics thanks to Mr. Romney’s shrewd skill. It became a time of immense national pride for America especially after experiencing the tragic events of 911 that came so suddenly upon us, before the games began. The Olympics became an event like no other; it became a time of national and international healing and unity. Under his leadership, America was given a new opportunity to believe in the America that we had once known. After 911, and the Olympics, I enlisted into the active duty regular Army and shipped off to basic training at Fort Benning Georgia. After completing that and finishing my specialized training, I soon found myself all alone on a plane to Germany it was my 25th birthday. I left my wife and newborn son but thankfully, they were soon able to join me about a month later. I would stay in Germany until the time came for me to return back home form the Army, which ended up being four years later. The only exceptions to leaving Europe were my two all expense paid sight seeing trips to Iraq and a few other Middle Eastern countries. While I served in the military I became acquainted with and made close friends with a guy that I will call for our purposes here Phil. Phil soon became my very best friend the kind of friend that you can only find in a trench or a fox hole. Phil is still that close friend to this very day, in fact we are neighbors, and are raising our families back here in the states attending school, and working hard towards our college degrees.I soon learned that Phil and I had something in common besides the fact that we were living similar lives. We soon discovered that we both new who Mitt Romney was. We discussed his new Governorship in Massachusetts and began to speculate and theorize that it could be possible for him to become a viable Presidential Candidate for 2008. I started to learn more about his personal life as time went on. I learned that Phil’s father was a missionary companion of Mr. Romney’s while they served there church in France. I was able to glean some of the stories and discovered something out about him on a personal level. I became aware of his leadership style. Mr. Romney never has been the type of person who exalts himself above another, and instead of pulling you along he walks with you never making you more or less than his equal, giving you the benefit of the doubt even when you don’t deserve it but at the same time he requires results. I learned something else about Mitt as time went on. I became aware of his family especially his father George Romney, the former Governor of Michigan. My Uncle Greg and his family became well acquainted with him while they lived in Bloomfield Hills Michigan. This is the place that Mitt grew up and spent his youth. It soon became apparent to me that George Romney being the great man that he was had taught his son Mitt to live a good life and serve others, as he did, just like any good father would. Mitt has not let his fathers good name down the Romney name lives on as a testament to the greatness of this good father and family.Mitt dropped close to the tree that his father was like all good apples do, only to find him self placed into the best, and the most fertile ground. He fell onto the uphill side of his father, and out into the sun were he has grown tall, and straight. He has put down deep, and strong roots; roots able to withstand the strong and often times unpredictable winds of a world out of control.Electing someone because they are a great person or come form a choice lineage or the same church that you do is still however not the best way to elect a candidate for President of the United States of America and the leader of the Free world at that. And I understand that well because I know plenty of great people in church and out of church, at school and out of school at work and out of work, that have leadership responsibilities however none of them are the type of leaders in the sense that a Presidential leader needs to be. We need someone who is not a novice someone who has there own personal life in order as well as their house. America is looking for or should be looking for a candidate who has the ability to implement solutions to the ills that our nation needs to deal with before it kills us. We need someone who can lead us through the world around us some parts of it are safe and friendly, and some parts are not. This same candidate must be humble enough to change when he is wrong and be man or woman enough to admit it even if it causes him or her to be unpopular. It is never fun taking medicine when you are sick but when you need it you need it. America we are sick and have been so sick for so long that we have at least for some of us not even lived long enough to remember when we were not sick. Unfortunately, we have become accustomed to it because we know nothing else. We have learned to ignore the pain that we feel, and have accepted our cancers; we even pretend that they do not exist many times. America wake up take off the Sesame Street bandage and have a look at that festering sore bubbling with puss. If we continue to ignore it pretending that it will go away, it will eventually kill us as a nation. Fixing ourselves will be no pick-nick it will be painful because we have waited so long to care for ourselves. The time has come my friends that we need to deal with reality and the gravity of the situation we find ourselves in. We need a surgeon to cut out the waste and rotting parts so that we can begin to heal and get onto the road to recovery.America we do not need a Queen who is void of royal blood that seeks a throne that does not exist. We do not need a Rock Star that plays no music. We do not need a Lawyer who charges a bite of your apple. We do not need a T.V Star pretending like he is the President when he feels like it and does not when he is bored. We do not need a War Hero or a Revolutionary we already had some of them back in 1776 that got the job done. They gave us a constitution that prescribes what we need, and what we need America is Mitt Romney. Vote Mitt Romney Next President of The United States of America in 2008.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4212101665079639951-1327815642367664248?l=libertysfront.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

Opening Statements

<a href="http://www.sciam.com/media/inline/3E0F9160-E7F2-99DF-358998AA3C1A910F_1.jpg"><img style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://www.sciam.com/media/inline/3E0F9160-E7F2-99DF-358998AA3C1A910F_1.jpg" border="0" /></a> This is the beginning of the argument against ignorance, as I attempt to persuade my fellow Americans to live above the fray of life I will attempt to inspire something within your soul by giving accurate commentary, strong opinion, and endorsements of my personal observations about the events that are changing the World around us all. The Republican Party is being hijacked by a highly sinister group of liberal democrats dressed in sheep’s clothing; by liberal’s hell bent on the destruction of the American dream and way of life. These men seek power more than the welfare of their fellow countrymen. If John McCain happens to win the republican nomination by trickery, well shame on you America for not doing your homework. You are going to get what you deserve. I have watched this nomination as closely as anyone since it’s beginning and I am sickened to the core at what I am witnessing. The fact is that Mitt Romney was the only viable candidate for this election cycle. He is truly the only conservative in the race. John McCain is not a conservative and Mike Huckabee is not a conservative. Fred Thompson was, but was way out of his league this time, and he wisely saw that, and resigned his campaign to the annals of history. My plea today is that we, as the base of the Republican Party, stand up to these imposters who will say and do anything to impose their ill will upon the American people. Toss them out onto their faces, elect the one, and only true conservative Mitt Romney. Many veterans sadly feel that they do not deserve or that they cannot really qualify for anything even though they actually do. It is an even sadder fact that some veterans are entirely ignorant of this entire issue. They are not even aware that there are special programs in place for them disabled or not.<br />Until the military, and the Department of Veterans Affairs can correct there deficiency, and their seeming lack of concern these problems will continue.<br />It is incumbent upon all veterans who know, and who have been through these confusing channels that would seem to an outsider as a sifting of the week, and uninformed, a design intended to limit the amount of service and quality care that Abraham Lincoln established that should be afforded to all veterans. We must be true to our roots and not allow the wolves in sheep’s clothing to rob us blind, and deprive us of who we are, and what we represent as a people once enlightened with the vision of Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, and George Bush. There are wolves and they have been running a well-coordinated attack, and have already taken some of our associates down. These wolves have us on the run and have begun to strategically divide us, and scatter us in preparation for the final move, the destruction of liberty. They want to chase us down the dark road too socialism. We need to rally around our core principles and adhere to them. We must ensure the safety, and success of our parties’ great but now endangered legacy. We need to rise up with a united voice and cast our vote this coming Tuesday, to the only conservative out there; that man is Mitt Romney. Tonight my neighbors’ house caught fire. Fortunately, they all were able to get out safely. The only injury was a second-degree burn on the husband’s leg. The home will be salvaged but the family will be unable to live in it for the time being. The home will need quit a bit of restorative work done before they will be able to move back in. The family has insurance but that does not compensate for the heartache, and the losses of those things that are irreplaceable. Sit down with your family today and have a discussion with them about fire safety. Talk about what to do, and where you will meet up incase you are as unfortunate as my neighbors. The family did not have a plan in place to get out incase of a fire, and I think that the only reason they all got out safely is because they were all awake. I also know that the home would be totally gone if it had not been for the quick reaction and the short time that it took for the fire department to respond, it took them two minutes. My neighbor said that it was a very close call; in fact, his dog ran and hid under a bed in the back room. He was quit happy that he saw the dog go there or the dog might have not made it out alive. He also mentioned that his young son might have tried something like that if he were not with his mother. Are you and your family ready and prepared? Will you be awake if something like this happens, or will you be asleep and have no time to get out? Do you really think that you will wake up and come to your senses, make a plan and find every member of your family in just a few seconds? My neighbor had his pants catch on fire and he had to tear them completely off. His family was still awake and almost did not make it out. If this happens to you and your family and they are asleep do not count on getting them all out alive if you do not take some time today. Sit them down and make a plan that everyone in your home understands. Be smart do not get burned.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/4212101665079639951-4770839748225355183?l=libertysfront.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>

McCainiac and the Huckster What the Freak?

<a href="http://vega.soi.city.ac.uk/~abbf806/redpolitix/explosion%2022.JPG"><img style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand" alt="" src="http://vega.soi.city.ac.uk/~abbf806/redpolitix/explosion%2022.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div><div><br /><div><br /><div><a href="http://www.thewe.cc/thewei/_/images11/us_war_crimes/nuclear_explosion.jpe"></a>I am dead from staying up all night watching the news. As the Super Tuesday results streamed in one after another, far into the early morning, I sat there in complete amassment. I was hopeful that Mitt Romney would do well but I was not expecting the Huckabomb fallout to be so definite. I felt the winds of momentum, and hope, begin to dissipate as I watched the support, albeit misguided in my opinion breaking for McCainiac, and the Huckster. Yes, Mitt Romney still beat the Huckabobo, and won more delegates, but the fact is McCainiac pounded Romney by nearly two to one. Wow what were we thinking America? I do not know what the future holds but if McCainiac continues onto the nomination, I cannot say that I feel particularly good about it. I believe that the Republican Party just handed the White House to the Democrats in 2008.Perhaps I’m being a little too reactionary; honestly I haven’t been able to process this information very well, and it might take me a few days to see through the stars, but last night was a sucker punch form hell no doubt about it. Lets be frank about this Mitt might be running again in 2012 not as an incumbent but as a Washington outsider all over again. I believe if McCainiac wins the nomination, the party will have a serious buyer’s remorse, and deservedly so. The silver lining here after all might just be a Clinton or an Obama White house after all. I am not saying that I want the Democrats in the Commander in Chiefs Seat, but if they do get it, it will because of my liberal friends McCainiac, and the Huckster. In closing if Mitt Romney feels like he can still win, and if he decides to continue on to the end, he will continue to have my full unwavering support. Consider this; it still takes 1191 out of 2,381 delegates to win the nomination. It is not over till the fat lady sings.
